Diaverum, a leading renal care company, has been awarded the hemodialysis service in the autonomous community of Cantabria for the next four years, with the option to extend it for an additional year. This new contract represents a milestone for the company, as it will enable it to establish itself in a new region, thus consolidating its leadership at national level.
Under this contract, Diaverum will provide hemodialysis services to 180 patients in Cantabria, whose reference hospital will be the Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital. To this end, the company will open two modern clinics, whose refurbishment works have already begun and will be operational by the end of 2023.
Diaverum's Director of Operations and Area Manager, Pablo Rodríguez, said: "This contract represents a new challenge for the company, where we are committed to bringing our renal patient care model to Cantabria. We will have state-of-the-art equipment and facilities with the highest standards of functionality, safety and comfort".
